Why give to Hilltop?
Hilltop Camp & Conference Center is committed to providing quality programs in comfortable facilities. We have been in operation for nearly a century, and – as an organization that values fiscal responsibility – we carry no debt. At present, we run kids’ camps in the summer, and we host conferences and retreats. We have a vision for increasing the number of these events to reach more youth and adults at this critical time in history. Other programs in development include a mentoring program for youth, refresher retreats for youth, and many other such opportunities.
Opportunities to Give
We work hard to keep our facilities ready for programs and events, and yet there is always need for improvement beyond what our hard work can accomplish. That is where you might find a place to plug in. We have opportunities for you.

1. Make a one-time or a recurring donation. No gift is too small to make a difference at Hilltop, and we welcome your financial participation. 2. Provide scholarship for summer camp tuition. Many young people would like to attend our youth camps in the summer who do not have the resources to make that happen. If you would like to help offset this need, please contact us and let us know that you would like to sponsor one or more youths to attend camp. Sponsoring youth by paying their camp tuition will help us grow our program by including more young people.
3. Partner with us on facility improvement. Our property is beautifully situated in the rolling hills of Deep East Texas, and we have an ambitious vision to reach more people by improving our existing structures and adding other structures to the campus. Here are some opportunities to give toward that goal:
Lakeside Pavilion
We have an existing building located at the lake shore, and the beautiful pavilion shown in this picture is one that we would like to build on that existing foundation. This new structure would become the crowning jewel of our campus and would provide a beautiful meeting venue at the shore of the lake.

Gameroom
Building the pavilion at the lake would require our game room to be relocated. The game room would serve us more effectively as an annex to Verner Hall, our main meeting facility. Locating the new game room over the scenic ravine behind Verner Hall would allow our guests to experience the natural beauty of our forest from within a building.

Remodeled Bathrooms in Girls' Dorm
The girls’ dorm was built nearly 50 years ago, and we are in the process of updating the rooms with new wall boards. The new look is both fresh and rustic, but there is an urgent need to update the bathrooms. This project will require extensive work, including jackhammering existing concrete to get the plumbing right. This building’s proximity to Rhodes Lodge makes it an ideal location for flexible space so that it can be used for meeting rooms or sleeping rooms.

Commercial Restrooms
in Verner Hall
The restrooms in Verner Hall were built nearly 50 years ago. Times have changed, and we need better accommodations for our guests. Building a modern restroom facility to extend off the back side of the building would free up the existing restroom space for kitchen pantry and a janitor’s closet, while giving us room to add well-designed restrooms suitable for our event attendees.

Rhodes Lodge Completion
Rhodes Lodge was built in 2011, and it is one of our newer facilities. This lodge has a large meeting room with kitchenette, and ten sleeping rooms with private baths and individual climate control.
What needs to be done? There are ten additional sleeping rooms on the second floor that have been framed out and wired for power, but the rooms are not yet finished.
